      - bugfix wired interface should discard invalid input values.  Resolves spurious trigger when updating confs.
      - bugfixes and improvements to LIN driver to resolve issues with Pico S8 modules.
        LIN config should assign PIDs to slave task regardless if node is found at boot. This should allow those nodes to start working later if/when they come online.
        Improvements to LIN config master: In node_discovery we should first scan the known slots to preserve any nodes that may have come online since the last scan. Remove nodes from buf that don't respond in scan_slot.
        Clear and reassign all PIDs before node_discovery to avoid collisions with newly added modules (previously did this at every boot)
        add task watchdog to LIN_task. add some error checks to LIN_driver.
